Tyler, Texas (April 16, 2010) – Ronda McGuire of Independence, MO will be the new managing owner of PC Kidz of Greater Kansas City. This franchise serves Johnson, Leavenworth, Douglas and Wyandotte counties in Kansas, and Jackson, Platte, Cass and Clay counties in Missouri. The business will offer computer education classes to preschool and school age children through public and private preschools, as well as through early education programs.
PC Kidz offers a comprehensive curriculum that focuses on establishing computer literacy and technology skills in children between the ages of 2 - 10 years. This innovative approach not only aligns the curriculum with state and national technology standards, but presents the lessons with the child’s developmental abilities in mind.
Ronda McGuire worked in the Information Technology field for 20 years as a Computer Programmer/Analyst. Ronda also worked as a PC Kidz instructor before purchasing the franchise. Ronda says, “Children are learning so much about their world, a world that is filled with technology. Technology is here to stay and will be crucial to our children’s future educational and occupational success.”

PC Kidz, the brainchild of Steve and Tammy Perry, was formed in 2001 after Tammy, a former elementary school teacher, noticed a deficiency in basic computer skills with her students.
